The purpose of the subject is to describe the characteristics of electric machines and generators, principles of operation, design, functional structure, start-up modes and winding connection types and methods, direct and alternating current electric machines, the operation and construction of electric machines that increase the power factor of electrical installations, as well as synchronous and asynchronous. considers the characteristics of machines and generators, energy transformations, working principles, start-up modes, electrical and mechanical energy conversion methods, nominal indicators, parameters of equivalent alternating current circuits, construction and area of application.
