The subject teaches the classification of electrical technical materials, their state under the influence of other factors and in the electric magnetic field, the atomic-crystalline structure of materials, the laws of changes in the structure and properties of materials under the influence of external factors. Electrical characteristics of materials, physical processes of dielectric materials, classification and main properties of electrical technical materials, basic principles of using electrical technical materials in electric power and electrical technical devices are considered.
