The subject teaches basic knowledge in the field of physical foundations of transient processes with various deviations of the energy system regime, calculation methods of electromechanical and electromagnetic transient processes. Considers knowledge about static and dynamic stability of the electric power system and ways to improve it, about transition processes of increasing the stability of power systems.

Electronic converter equipment, Power supply, Electric machines, Design of power plants, Power plants use of electrical equipment, electrical apparatus and measuring equipment.

Analysis of electrical circuits and electromagnetic fields, Physics 1, Introduction to the profession, Use of renewable energy sources.

Group work, method of development training, method of improving professional skills, methods of problem-based learning.

1Can collect theoretical data on the characteristics of electrical technical measuring instruments, electronic devices.
2Knows, can analyze and demonstrate theoretical knowledge of basic processes in automatic control systems.
