The subject considers the origin of religions, stages of development, the laws of religious phenomena in the history of mankind, the specifics and nature of belief systems, the classification of religions and research methodology. As a result of studying the subject, the student learns the meeting situations and forms of the religions that existed in history, the beliefs and worship features of different religions, and develops the ability to show tolerance to different religions and cultures.
