The discipline forms theoretical knowledge about the morphological, ecological and economic features of medicinal plants, the pharmacological effects of plants on humans, the use of medicinal and preventive plants. As a result of mastering the discipline, student learns the timing and methods of collection, methods of using medicinal plants, practicing effective collection of raw materials in the field conditions, taking into account the requirements of medicinal raw materials, masters the planning and implementation of measures to protect plant resources, can solve the problems of preserving stocks of medicinal plants.
