The discipline teaches students the ability to apply their knowledge to explain various astronomical and physical phenomena.The sun and the Solar system, the physical nature of the planets in it, the satellite, phases and eclipses of the Moon, the calendar, the structure and types of stars, meteoroids, astroids, types of galaxies, is able to solve problems of astronomy and formulate astronomical phenomena and processes, studying the laws of the origin and evolution of the Universe.
