The purpose of the discipline is to familiarize students with the strategic foundations, goals and principles of US foreign policy, the formation and development of doctrinal foundations in relation to the domestic and international context, systematizing the main events, while giving an idea of the main stages of formation, the place and role of American foreign policy. The discipline forms the skills of analyzing American foreign policy strategy at both the global and regional levels.
